Drag Bingo for May, July and August has been canceled at this point. As soon as it is safe for 200 of our friends to gather again, we will get them rescheduled. Thanks for your support of the Erie Art Museum. Drag Bingo It's bingo, but with a hell of a lot more pizzazz! Between games enjoy. Guests started in the lobby of the historic Ben Franklin Institute engaging with artwork, mingling with artists, and eyeing over half a dozen tables of premier silent auction items.
MC Mike Kelley led the crowd through 12 games of Bingo where guests will played for a variety of original works of art, from local artists like Prilla Smith Brackett, Anne Silber, and Thaddeus Miles. One a special game was played for a print made by an emerging artist and student from Boston Arts Academy Grace Galgay. Bingo callers included Kevin Hepner, Art Connection staff, donating artists, and few little ones from the audience.
All BINGO winners took home their art at the end of evening along with their silent auction steals. Some of this years winnings included theater tickets, museum passes, vacation home stays, specialty alcohol, gourmet treats and more!
Thanks to the generosity of all who attended nearly $30,000 was raised. All proceeds from the event will be used to support The Art Connection’s mission in providing access to art in under-served communities.

A former aerospace engineer, John Guthrie graduated from MassArt in 1992. He has shown nationally and internationally at venues including Kate Werble Gallery in NYC, Tinku Gallery in Toronto, and Spazio Natta in Italy. John lives and works in Boston and recently opened a gallery in the South End called VERY.

Annual Art BINGO Artist Award
Ellen’s commitment to the arts and The Art Connection community has been unparalleled since 1995 when she was an original signer on our bylaws. She has volunteered in numerous capacities throughout the years and most recently, been a strong voice as a member of the program committee since 2008. The Art Connection is honoring Ellen for her tremendous dedication and support of the arts. We are pleased to present the Annual Art BINGO Artist Award to Ellen!
Makeup Artist Bingo
Ellen started donating her original works of art through The Art Connection in 2000 and these have found homes in nonprofits such as New England Center for Homeless Veterans, Pine Street Inn, St. Francis House, Centro Latino de Chelsea, Inc., and East Boston Neighborhood Health Center. In addition to the art donation and placement program, she has submitted works to our jurors and has had work selected into Art BINGO for the past five years! Her acrylic on paper, collage “Marsden” was selected by our juror, John Guthrie, this year as one of the twelfth works to be played for at Art BINGO.
